A mystery of season finale proportions. No, it's not a castle, no, not a sandpit, and no, it won't be the holding cell of numerous man-eating rabbits. No, it's not a full-size replacement for my Lego addiction.

Plans to further my mission of world domination be the best vegetable-grower-guy are in progress.

Lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, spring onions, sweet corn and now tomatoes are now all being grown. Take that Tesco.
I mentioned last week briefly that in a move completely out of my regular pursuits (no, honest), i'd started growing lettuce. It's something I did towards the end of last year in secret, part curiosity, part wonder, part boredom. Initially it was only to feed the rabbits, but, living in the countryside, it seemed like an easy stereotype and interest I could squeeze myself into. The results were good- I never had to buy carrots or lettuce from Tesco, and the rabbits, well, they never said anything explicitly, but I think they enjoyed them.
It's a project i'm doing this year again but on a bigger scale. Alongside lettuce (and carrots in a few weeks time) i'm growing cauliflower and broccoli. It turns out i've already started too late for the latter two- they take a while to sprout apparently- so i've cheated a little and bought them in a little more ready-made. Not as exciting admittedly, but it means I can start on the next batch much quicker I guess, or grow something else. Both lettuce and carrots don't take long to harvest.
Already there's been slugs, frost is still a possible deterrent, and months of rain is likely. Despite this, i'm keen, and hoping for good results. If so, it's something I can continue with over the summer and into early autumn like last year.
No I will not apologise for such a horrible pun in the title.
