Lego MOCs
Here's a selection of Lego MOCs (My Own Creations). I've been building since, well, obviously since i've been a child, but i've only really been back into it as an interest for the last five years- i'm now what's known as an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego).
It's pure escapism of course, so a lot of the things I do build are usually Castle and Medieval in genre, with elements of fantasy. It's the complete opposite to my preferences when I was younger and my interests in building Town and Pirates, but while I do build in other genres and themes occasionally, largely, i'm only interested in castle.

Varick
Varick is an attempt at something altogether contemporary, while additionally, a first foray into The Lego Group's new modular-house building style. This took a few weeks building, on and off.[blog entry] -
Widmore and Mortia
These two MOCs were entries for the Classic-Castle Battles Contest, 2008. Widmore is an attack on a Crusader keep by the Forestmen, whereas Mortia is an all-out defense against the undead. [blog entry] -
Bridgewood Tower and village
I wanted to originally build a wizard's keep of sorts, so I had an idea of having a run-down tower in ruins. That idea kind of evolved and made way for a tower, that, while ruined, was also once a means of defense in regards to the village. I like how it turned out, and it's probably my favourite thing i've done. -
Colossal Castle Contest V
My three entries for the fifth annual Colossal Castle Contest, held at Classic-Castle. The marketplace was for the Misc category, the Blacksmith for the Trade & Industry category, and finally, the Ruins for the Medieval Journey category. -
Riverbank
This is a finished project, though i'm still unsure about the thinking behind it. I wanted to build a kind of rural fishing spot, with plenty of marsh and a bridge. There was just basically a list of things I wanted to include and they were all thrown together. I like how it turned out though! -
Vignettes
A vignette is typically a small scene or story, built on a 6x6 or 8x8 stud baseplate. In terms of overall Lego history they're a pretty new concept, but here's some of the ones i've made in the past, between building bigger things. -
Other
Single shots, unfinished experiments, smaller MOCs, and stuff that doesn't deserve proper galleries. -
Unnamed Story
Just (currently) some little experiments. Might be expanded upon further, though at the moment i'm still undecided.
